Students will also get to intern while they are studying at the university. Eventually, they will also become eligible for a 3-year work permit upon the completion of their course and get an accelerated 6-month permanent residency status as well.

What are the prerequisites?
  • Grade 12 or equivalent, or minimum 19 years of age
  • Successful completion of Arena 3D Animation Portfolio Development Program (100 hours)
  • Portfolio requirement
  • Demonstrated English language proficiency
    • IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or
    • TOEFL (internet-based) with a total score of 80 or higher & a minimum of 18 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 18 in Speaking and 20 in writing
  • Passport with minimum validity of 'Period of the Stay' for the course duration
HOW CAN ARENA ANIMATION STUDENTS APPLY?

All current and ex-students (last 5 years) of Arena Animation who have studied Animation, VFX or Gaming can do a Bridge Program of just 100 hours to become eligible for the 2-year Advanced Program at Langara Center for Entertainment Arts in Vancouver, Canada. By completing this Bridge Program, students can go to Canada in January 2021. Our objective is to offer students an international degree and an opportunity to settle in Canada.

BRIDGE PROGRAM 1 : 3D ANIMATION PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT.

In this hands-on, assignment-oriented program, students will assemble a portfolio containing their concept art, gure models, digital paintings, character designs and a demo-reel of their 3D assets, characters & environments.

In this practical, assignment-oriented program, students will assemble a portfolio containing their concept art, gure models, digital paintings, storyboards & 3D previs, 3D/CG asset development and a demo-reel of VFX compositing using live action footage & CG elements.

HOW CAN NEW STUDENTS APPLY?

New students who aspire to go to Langara Center for Entertainment Arts in Vancouver, Canada have to complete the Advanced Program in Visual & Entertainment Arts from Arena Animation. It is a 240-hour program of 4 terms which is designed to prepare students for the 2-Year Advanced Diploma in Animation, Visual Eects or Game Design in Canada. By completing this program, students will get eligible for January & September 2021 intake. This is a comprehensive course that provides end-to-end training in all aspects of animation and VFX production.
